Students are expected to record assignments as I announce them verbally before leaving class each day. As a way that students and parents can verify assignments and due dates, I will also post them here. Colored document titles are links to assignments. All homework is due on the following class day unless it is specifically stated to be due at another time.

April 27th:
Check out an ebook at LHS Library
Take a break from studying with a Virtual Visit to a National Park
Have you seen the ISD Grading Policy for Distance Learning? Make sure to think about what this means for your classes.
April 20th: we begin Distance Learning: the expectation is that high school students spend about 180 total minutes a day on their classes and participate to the best of their ability. Read about Liberty’s Instructional Plan here.
For Guided Study, I will send weekly (not daily) updates. While you don’t have to do anything extra for our class, you should use our 45 minutes from 2:00-2:45 on Mondays and Thursdays to concentrate on your work for other classes. Your Guided Study teachers will continue to update the Guided Study Website. There are some great links from previous weeks on How to Create a Study Schedule and Habits of Highly Effective Students.
This weeks links include Tips to study, a site with Educational podcasts by topics of interest, a tutorial on How to Use Microsoft Teams and 2 messages from WA State Superintendent of Public Schools, you might especially be interested in the one in which Supt. Reykdal Addresses Grading & Supports for Students with Disabilities During School Closures.
More useful links:

Fighting Procrastination
Read the Patriot Press: your classmates are continuing their work on the paper during the closure.
